After you purchase a book from us direct, Our partner service, Bookfunnel is set up to deliver these books straight to you and your e-reader or mobile devices. Just follow the instructions in the BookFunnel email and you’ll have the book in no time. If you have issues with the BookFunnel delivery, please contact BookFunnel and their customer service will happily guide you through the process. It’s pretty easy, though.
What method of payment do you take?
We accept all major credit cards or PayPal as payment methods. That means you can use credit cards as well as your PayPal balance or the bank account you have hooked up to PayPal. It is currently the only payment method I have enabled.
Why should I buy direct?
Buying direct, straight from me, gives me more opportunities to expand my work and bring you more stories. I earn a higher a commission per sale which puts more money in my pocket, not some large corporation who doesn’t care about me or my work. I know most people think authors are rich, but nothing could be further from the truth! I don’t even make minimum wage. When I sell a $3.99 book at Amazon, I only make $2.74. When I sell a $3.99 book direct, I make $3.79. That’s a whole dollar more! And every dollar counts when I’m paying the bills for my editor, cover designer, and ads. Selling direct also gives me the chance to offer exclusive box sets and offer exclusive coupons for my readers as well. Everyone wins when you buy direct!
Why are some of your books and box sets only available direct?
I have made decisions about what to offer exclusively direct based on pricing restrictions at Amazon. Amazon only allows me to earn a 70% commission on items priced between $2.99 and $9.99. So for books priced lower and higher, I have chosen to sell them direct only or a combination of direct and other vendors like Apple Books, Barnes and Noble and/or Kobo. I also plan to launch some books or box sets exclusively direct for a short time before bringing them to other vendors. It will depend on my marketing goals for those titles.
